    At EirWaves, we believe in the power of community and giving back. We are dedicated to spreading our love of surfing and wellness to positively impact the world around us.

    That’s why we have partnered with the Prince of Wales Hospital Foundation (POWHF), a charity close to our hearts. For each item purchased, $5 will be donated to the EirWaves Wellness Fund at POWHF.
    The EirWaves Wellness Fund will support the hospital’s staff in accessing wellness programs, including doctors, nurses, and all other staff members.

    POWHFs mission is to Raise funds. Raise Care. Raise health and transform lives.

    POWHF are the funding heartbeat of Prince of Wales Hospital. POWHF raise the money that gives the hospital the best knowledge, innovations and wellbeing to help anyone transform and live their healthiest life, now and into the future.

    POWHF currently have two wellness programs available for staff to access via the EirWaves Wellness Fund:

    Wave’s of Wellness (WOW) Workplace Wellbeing Program has reimagined clinical mental health support to help individuals, local communities, and the business sector. As Australia’s leading mental health surf therapy organisation, WOWs specifically designs wellbeing programs for teams in blue and green spaces. Changing the environment (in nature) remarkably improves access to and the efficacy of therapy. (WOW) Foundation is a mental health surf therapy charity committed to changing lives by delivering for-purpose, innovative support programs for people experiencing mental health challenges.

    Harries (Anthony) and Emily Carroll are experienced pilates and wellbeing practitioners who run classes in their private studio, surf life-saving clubs and corporate settings. They have personally experienced the care provided by Prince of Wales Hospital (POW) and understand the importance of supporting hospital staff. While Harries’s front-line work as a lifeguard has also deepened the families’ understanding of what it means to be caring for people in life-threatening situations. They understand the importance of supporting POW staff wellbeing, all who tirelessly care for us when we need them the most. Harries and Emily will deliver pilates and wellness classes for POW staff.
